80Gbps Thunderbolt 5 Speed: Powered by an Intel certified JHL9480 chip paired with an RTL9210 bridge chip, this enclosure delivers read and write speeds over 6000MB/s on a compatible Thunderbolt 5 or USB4 port, which suits large video projects, photo libraries and fast backups.

Wide Compatibility: Works with Thunderbolt 5, 4 and 3 and USB4, and is backward compatible with USB 3.2, 3.1 and 3.0 ports. Speeds are limited by the port you plug into, so use a Thunderbolt 5 or USB4 port for the best results.

Adjustable Cooling Fan: A built-in fan can be switched on or off by pressing the button for one second, and it also starts automatically when the temperature rises, helping keep your SSD cooler during long transfers.

M.2 NVMe SSD Support: Fits M.2 NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 sizes with capacities up to 8TB. PCIe Gen5 NVMe SSDs are not supported on this model, so choose a Gen4 or earlier drive.

Tool-Free Installation: Open the case, slot in your SSD and close it again without any screwdrivers. SSDs with their own built-in heatsink exceed the internal dimensions and are not recommended.

Plug and Play: No drivers are needed, so it is ready to use as soon as it is connected. The SSD is sold separately.
